Terms of Use

1. What Billmira is

Billmira is a self-help information tool. It explains publicly available rules about medical bills and health insurance and provides letter templates that you complete, review and send yourself.

2. What Billmira is not

Billmira is not a law firm and does not provide legal, medical, tax or financial advice. Using Billmira does not create an attorney-client or any other professional relationship. We do not represent you, contact anyone on your behalf, or negotiate your bills. We are not affiliated with any government agency, hospital or insurer.

3. No guarantee of results

Every hospital policy, insurance plan and state law is different, and rules change. Results and deadlines shown are estimates based on the information you enter and general federal rules. We don't guarantee that any bill will be reduced or any appeal will succeed. Check your own plan documents, notices and official sources, and consider getting help from a qualified professional for complex situations.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for reviewing any letter before you send it, and for meeting your own deadlines. Please don't use Billmira for anything unlawful or to submit false information.

5. Paid features

Billmira is free during beta. If we add paid features, prices, renewal terms and cancellation steps will be shown clearly before you buy, and these terms will be updated.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billmira is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. [JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC WORDING — for legal review]

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
